Quinoa (pronunced Keen-wah) is a protein rich grain which is also high in unsaturated fat and lower in carbohydrates than most grains. It can be used in any dish in place of rice or similiar grains. It's composition is described as 'small pellets' that when cooked become 'fluffy'. A recipe with quinoa and spinach is being given out at the meetings this week, hope you'll try it! Have a great week, see you at the meeting.
